Sammy, Sammy, Sammy!

The story of our dog... So I bought a dog, my kids suckered me into it! and then my dog suckered my mom and Rod into getting his brother, so now we have 2 puppy's, we must be crazy... so after a few weeks of no sleep, allot of craziness, and a mom crying on the floor (i promise I'm not weak, i just lucked out with kids that sleep, and got a really bad sleeping dog...) my mom suggested that she keep Sammy and train him, since dogs do better together anyways! (she deserves the mom of the year award) so I have the dogs in the days while shes at work, and she has the dogs at night. So far it has been going GREAT, and the dogs have 2 family's to love them, and they have each other to love, and the kids have there mom back!!! So that is the story of Sammy!

Halloween 09

Well this Halloween a mom asked her 4 year old what he wanted to be for Halloween, as I prepared myself for any answer (because he is so creative...) his answer totally surprised me... he said NOTHING, he did not want to be anything, I was shocked, so I asked him why, so he replies that last year HIS costume scared him! so we collectively came up with him being a cowboy, because he really did not have to be dressed up... so that worked, and as for Kate she really cant talk, so mom took the easy route made her a tutu, and made her into a black cat! (so cute, and she loved the tutu!)

This year cornbellys was a blast, wish it had been a little warmer, but Kash got to go with Aspen and Kate got to go with Stevan, so it was a good day, I LOVE that I have found such great Friends to do stuff with!

took me a minute to find, but here it is if you maximize this picture, and the one of her alone from this year, you will get a laugh! maybe shes not as big of fan of the pumpkin patch as we all are... but by next year she should be able to tell us!

Pumkin Patch

This is one of my favs for fall, I need to post Kates picture from last year, I think that her expressions for the pumpkin patch are similar, she cracks me up :) Next year I may have to find a new patch because this year our patch decided to get rid of the wagons, and have all wheelbarrows, which was a pain pain with the kids, and the pumpkins... but we had a great day anyways!

Cotton Candy and all caught up!

This was Kashs first time having cotton candy, and as you can tell from the pictures, he was not a fan he said it was "bad sugar mom"

ZOO day

Love the picture of the rhino Kash looks just like him with his hair spiked up! This was the first time Kate had been to zoo when she could do more than just sit in the stroller, and she loved it, she just loves animals, so it was fun to see her reaction to the whole thing!

Fun times in the canyon this summer! we really took advantage of all of the great things that are near... I'm just bummed its almost over, I am a summer lover I really need some good winter suggestions of things to do to keep us happy???

Roasting some dogs!

This is an epic picture, so it had to be posted! For those of you who do not know this is a picture of Kates uncle Austin, and they are holding hands, you may thing no big deal, but it is! Kate is not a fan of Austin, so she must have really wanted to go on a "nature walk" that day, because we caught her hand in hand!

To bad it did not last, because the very next weekend she was right back to where they began with not so much love for Austin :( (just a little side note she is the only one who does not like Austin, but I'm sure she will come around!

"Magoon"

Kash loved "magoon" this year! we had a really great time with cousins, and grandpa Heber! we rode all day and into the night, Kash enjoyed the idea of staying out after dark, and i had a great day with my doodlebug!

Alaska

Our daddy went on a fishing trip to Alaska at the beginning of the summer, and all he brought back were these lousy t-shirts.... and 100 pounds of the BEST fish we have ever had!!! this is a man cation that we all can deal with, and I think Andy had the time of his life!

"NO WAY"

NO WAY is the new answer to EVERYTHING at our house! Kate does not say much but she has figured out that no way is her answer to everything!!! we love you Kate you make our life's a little brighter, just keep being this age, and this cute forever!!!

Family time

Meet the newest member of our family (the jeep) it is the best hobby we have ever purchased the kids love it, and it is something we can all do together I love it! We have been out almost every weekend, and most trips end up with the kids asleep on the way home, so you know I really love it!!!

Grandpa

Love these pics, Andy adores his grandpa, and I was glad to get these shots! I would have loved to have more of grandma Normal but she was so busy running around town and working I did not catch many pictures of her, oh well I guess we will need to get back down there now, and go hiking when it is not so hot...

A Blanding parade

So I have been to many parades this summer, and I can say that Blandings parade tops them all! They have water firetrucks spread throughout the parade, so you spend a fair amount of time getting wet, which is perfect you are not sitting there getting hot, and what kid does not love to get wet!!!
