LOOK WHAT I CAN DO...

Kate is mobile, and she has been for the past month, but now she is fast and on the move. Kate is determined to be as big as her brother, so she decieded it was time to get up and get moving, there are 3 problems with this: she eats everything that she can find on the floor, she all the sudden disapears, and she is into everything! Now I know what you are thinking I have Kash and should be used to this by now, but he did not crawl untill he was 11 months and he crawled not that well, and not that long before he started walking, he would have rather died than put anything in his mouth, and he did not care much to get into anything, Kash was also alone so I had more time on my hands to pay attention, so needless to say the house and I are not prepared for Kate!

What have we been doing?

I feel like I am watching my life in a vidio on fast forward, Im ready to press pause for a second but I guess that is what January is for. So much has happend without really anything happening, it was my birthday, the end. We had a great low key thanksgiving with all of the same work just lots of leftovers because we only had a few guest, but I really enjoyed it! So now it is on to Christmas, and this is a big comment for me but I am really looking forward to Christmas for the first time since I was a child, and hopefully I can slow down for a second, catch up and enjoy life, hope all is well with all of you!

I have not posted all of the month of October so I picked pictures from all of our activites. We always have alot of fun the month of October with all of the fall activites, and on Halloween we had a bunch of friends over for our Halloween party we had chilli, then got our costumes on and went trick or treating, after trick or treating we came home and let the kids decorate cupcakes (what was I thinking? cupcakes and Halloween candy) but we had a great time anyways:D

Kash was such a ham at this photo shoot he would tell the photographer that she got the shot and he needed to see it... he was running the show! he left while Kate was getting done (thank you dad) but he had some request for Kates pictures, and he really wanted to get her in the coffee cup, so at Kash's request Kate got put in the cup, and surprise she loved it, so thank you Kash for the suggestion the coffee cup pictures were fun! also notice that there are not many pictures of Kash and Kate because Mr. photo shoot director did not want to hold his sister, so maybe next time!

Falling for FUN

Kash mentioned last weekend that he needed to see the "fall leaves falling" I do not know where he came up with this but we decided that it was not a bad idea to take a drive up American Fork canyon, and we are glad we did! It was the perfect weekend for the leaves changing colors, and the weather was great too! once we got in the canyon Kash then decided he wanted to go on a hike, and that was also a great idea... we had a great time in the canyon that night, and also got some great pictures so I decided to share =D

"LA goon"

Lagoon is something that Randy never misses and it is a great time to get together! Rod and my mom were kind enough to ride up, go on some rides, and then take the kids home so that Andy and I could ride since Kash was born we have been to lagoon and have not gone on any rides we had a great time. Rod was telling us a story on the way into lagoon so I thought I would share... When Rod was 10 years old he wanted to go to lagoon with some friends that had invited him this was all well and good, but it was sunday and he knew that he was not allowed to play on sundays, so he came up with something clever he told his mom and dad he needed to attend the funeral of LA goon and he would be home later that evening, he had a great day at lagoon, but by the time he arrived home his parents had fiquiered out that Rod had gone to LAGOON... that was the start to the rebel that he is today!

1st day of school

Kash was pretty excited for his 1st day of school he was very confident, and ready to go! after school was over Kate and I picked him up and I asked him how was school? and he replied "it was good" now it is not like Kash to not talk my ear off but he was not giving up any information... he is already a man! the second day of school was not good he did not want to go he cried he now knew what was going on and he did not want to go. When I picked him up he had a bitter look on his face so I asked him what is wrong to which he replied "Im mad at you, you just left me at preschool all by myself" what a second day. Secretly I was excited that he stll needs me and the first day was just boldly going into the unknown. as for a update it has now been a couple of weeks of school and he loves it =D I love to see what he learns, and the things he brings home he is still a little guarded preschool is HIS THING, but every once in awhile he slips and sings me a song or tells me something new!!!

"Chugachuga Choo Choo"

Kash loves trains so we decieded to take a day and go on the Heber Creeper. The day was beautiful and the train was great Kash had a smile on his face the whole day :) Kate was loving the train too! I think we had a really GOOD day...

YUCK!!!

I think that Kate thought her life was the best by the big smile she always has on her face I would think that she is pretty HAPPY, but her life took a turn for the worse the day that mom dad, and Kash decied to feed Kate food, it started with cereal, mix it with what you will she is not having it... so fast forward to start her on vegetables, and she acted like we were trying to poison her so when she is 2 and you still se that she is on expensive formula, drinking from a bottle just find this post in the archives, and you will have an expalnation for the 2 year old with a bottle!!!

"only with my hands"

Kash started out rough in soccer, he did not want to leave his moms side, and decieded soccer would be better off with mom by his side, but that would have been impossible, so when he decided it was safe to venture away from his mom he thought it would be a good idea to be diffrent from all the rest, and play soccer with his hands, so he spent a good ammount of time playing soccer with hands only. I think that in the future all of the IDEAS that give me the most ammount of grief will be the things that make him a really great person so wish me luck for the next how ever many years he lives in my house... (16 years) Your team may have not apprecited your wounderful idea but we love you and life would not be as much fun if you were not a part of it!!!

Family Fun

we love to go 4-wheeling it will be even greater when the kids are bigger and Kate can go we missed her, and I think Kash would like to be bigger to ride on his own of course!!!

MORE REUNION

Kash has found a best buddy Andrew and Kash ran all over the reunion, as you can see from Kashs bruised face they sometimes ran into each other I also did not capture as many pictures as I would have liked, but we all have the great memories!

Thank you to Mady for being the oldest cousin and having to help with all of the kids, but Kash and Kate sure love you, so I just wanted to say a little thanks, we had a great time, and I even went out on a boat wow!!!

Steele Days

I believe that every child at least once in their life needs to attend a City of FUN canneviel, with that said Andy clearly did not agree, he was freaking out... he thinks that the rides are not safe wich I completly agree, but when the child never leaves the ground Im sure he is fine, he did ride in the car to get to the carnievel! then Andy was freaking out about the price, and felt the need to let the worker, who is wearing jordace jeans, and a carny tee that it was a rip off Im sure she cared, but in the end Kash and I won because Kash had the time of his little life, and Andy admitted he was over reacting =D Thank you dad for being so concerned!!!

Happy fourth of july FINALLY

We had a low key fourth of july this year just a few firworks at the house and a BBQ for whoever was hungry. Kash was not impressed with fireworks this year, but I am sure that it will change with time, Kate was having the time of her life I think that she even forgot to blink while the fireworks were going on... Just glad to finally get my computer to work, now I just need to buy a new camera, so I can quit posting pictures that make you eye go blurry!

I have a semi-great fourth of july page with no fourth of july pictures, I can not get the blogger to upload them, and I can not get my new camera to download, could this be the end of my blogging days... stay tunned:(

IM A GIRL !!!

Kate had her ears pierced, and they look so cute I think that she loves them, but we will see if she really keeps them in... We also had a pedicure party, Kate just loves being a girl, and we think she is so cute =D

Real horseriding

Uncle Kay is so great with all of the kids I really think that we could all leave and go to lunch and come back to Kay riding in circles around the house with all the kids on the horse! Kash knew we were going to ride horses this day, and right before we left he said "mom where are my cowboy boots?", Kash does not own a pair of cowboy boots, but he needed to find the boots before we could leave (its always something)Kate really did not care what we were doing, shes just happy to be anywhere mom is, she is so easy, and such a joy to have in our lifes :D

Strawberry days !!!

Both of these pictures you need to click on and enlarge, so you can get the full picture, Im pretty sure that Kash was the only male at the RODEO with lip gloss on, and the second picture, both of the kids wanted to leave because it "smells like poop", if only it did not bother them as much when they do it in their pants!!! But whatever face he pulls, or whatever he may have on his face he makes our lifes so enjoyable, and we love him !!!

A DAY AT THE WATER PARK

Well at this point in my life it is much more easy to go to the water park, than to the pool, I love the pool but right now its just not possible without help, now you may read this and think its possible, but then I know that you are a stranger to my busy 3 year old who listens only when he wants too, but that is a whole other blog... I was so glad to get out in the sun and have a little fun, and I think Kate even enjoyed herself too =D

We hiked timp cave, we have beendoing it for exercise, but on this day we decided to go through the cave, because Rod had not been there since he was a kid, and his son had never been, so for those of you who dont know rod is about 6 feet tall, and the cave is very small, so you guessed it rod hit his head, and my camera was not out of batteries for this one =D, we did have a great hike! thanks for the memories...
